Admission criteria for the 2nd round of the 2026/2027 admissions process

The school principal, in accordance with Section 60 of Act No. 561/2004 Coll., the Education Act, and Decree No. 422/2023 Coll., on admissions to secondary education, sets the following criteria for the 2nd round of admissions for the school year 2026/2027.
Number of accepted applicants
A maximum of 40 applicants will be admitted to the 1st year of the field of education 78-42-M/06 Combined Lyceum in the 2nd round of the admissions process.
Criteria for evaluating applicants
The admission procedure will take place without a school entrance exam.
Applicants will be evaluated solely based on the results of the Unified Entrance Exam (JPZ) taken in the 1st round of the admission procedure in the 2025/2026 school year. The results will be evaluated: • Czech language and literature – max. 50 points • Mathematics – max. 50 points The maximum number of achievable points is 100 points. The school does not set a minimum success threshold. The ranking of applicants will be determined according to the total number of points obtained in the JPZ. Applicants who did not take the Unified Entrance Exam in the 1st round of the admission procedure in the 2025/2026 school year will be assigned 0 points in the JPZ evaluation.
Criteria for equal points
In the event of a tie, the following will decide:
1. Higher number of points from the mathematics test,
2. Higher number of points from the Czech language test,
3. Better average grades on the report card for the 1st semester of the 9th grade,
4. Better average grades on the report card for the 2nd semester of the 8th grade,
5. Better average grades on the report card for the 1st semester of the 8th grade,
6. Lottery.
Conditions for admission of applicants with foreign previous education
Applicants pursuant to Section 20, Paragraph 4 of the Education Act will be processed in accordance with applicable legislation.
Applicants with temporary protection (Lex Ukraine)
The school proceeds in accordance with the valid general measure of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and Act No. 67/2022 Coll. (Lex Ukraine).
Dates of the 2nd round of the admissions process
The school principal announces the 2nd round of the admissions process in accordance with the schedule of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports for the 2026/2027 school year.
Submission of applications
Applications for the 2nd round of the admissions process can be submitted from May 19 to May 25, 2026:
• electronically via the DiPSy system,
• or on paper.
Publication of results
The results of the 2nd round of the admissions process will be published on June 23, 2026:
• in the DiPSy system,
• on the school website,
• and in a publicly accessible place at the school.
Viewing the file
In accordance with Section 36, Paragraph 3 of the Administrative Procedure Code, the participant in the proceedings has the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the supporting documents of the decision before its issuance. The file will be available for inspection on June 22, 2026, upon prior arrangement via e-mail: zuzana.kacerovska@ssbaltimore.cz.
