Students Studying Outside

OUR CONCEPT

The study, which
adapts the vision

and the student's interests

At Baltimore High School, we offer a combined high school with a strong foundation in general education and the option to choose one of two specializations starting in the 3rd grade .

This gives students confidence in key subjects while also giving them the space to follow a path that matches their strengths and plans.

Common ground for all

In the first two years, all students build a solid foundation in general subjects: Czech, English, Spanish, mathematics, natural sciences, ICT, social sciences, physical education, and artistic disciplines.

The curriculum is complemented by project blocks and courses focused on critical thinking, communication, and digital literacy. Students also receive an introduction to law, economics, and psychology.

After two years of common foundation, students choose one of two specializations according to their interests
and plans for the future
. Each of the paths offers different key subjects and develops specific skills - from communication and working with people to entrepreneurship and digital technologies.

International partnership

Thanks to cooperation with the American partner school American High School in Florida and the educational agency USA Sport & Study, students will have the opportunity to complete a parallel program leading to the US High School Diploma.

This combination will allow students to either obtain an American high school diploma through distance learning online, or, as part of cooperation with the agency, complete a one-year study stay directly at a partner school in the USA.

This element represents a significant expansion of the educational offer and a deeper connection between the Czech and American curricula. Students will thus gain a unique opportunity for international application and will be better prepared for study at both Czech and foreign universities.
