Publication of results
The results of the admissions process will be published on May 15, 2026:
-
on the school website ( www.ssbaltimore.cz ) ,
-
in the school building in paper form,
-
and in the DiPSy information system, under the applicant's identification number .
Before issuing a decision on acceptance or non-acceptance, the participant in the proceedings has the opportunity to inspect the supporting documents for the decision, in accordance with Section 36(3) of Act No. 500/2004 Coll., Administrative Procedure Code, as amended.
This option will be available on May 14, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the school principal's office by prior arrangement at zuzana.kacerovska@ssbaltimore.cz .

Amendments to the admissions process conditions
a) For applicants with special educational needs, the school principal decides on the adaptation of the conditions for holding the entrance examination based on the recommendation of the school counseling center. This recommendation must be documented with the application.
b) Admission of applicants who received their previous education at a school outside the Czech Republic:
The school will proceed in accordance with Section 20 of Act No. 561/2004 Coll., on preschool, primary, secondary, higher vocational and other education (Education Act), and Decree No. 422/2023 Coll., on admission procedures for secondary education and education at the conservatory.
Applicants must submit with their application a report card for the last 3 school years immediately preceding the school year in which they are submitting their application.
Applicants who have received their previous education at a school outside the Czech Republic within the meaning of Section 20, paragraph 4 of the Education Act, will be exempted from the unified entrance examination in the Czech language upon their request during the admission procedure. The school will verify the knowledge of the Czech language, which is necessary for education in the above-mentioned field of education, with these applicants through an interview.
c) Admission of foreigners with temporary protection and long-term residence in connection with the armed conflict on the territory of Ukraine caused by the invasion of the troops of the Russian Federation (according to the Lex Ukraine law):
The school will proceed according to the general measures of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports for the admission procedure for the school year 2026/2027, file no. MSMT131/2025-32, effective from 18. 11. 2025 and according to Act No. 67/2022 Coll., on measures in the field of education in connection with the armed conflict in the territory of Ukraine caused by the invasion of the troops of the Russian Federation, as amended. During the admission procedure, foreigners with temporary protection or long-term residence are exempted from the unified entrance exam in the Czech language upon request (if they also meet Section 20, paragraph 4 of the Education Act). Knowledge of the Czech language will be verified by an interview .
For points bc the following applies: The dates of interviews with applicants who do not take the Czech language exam are set for 14. 4. 2026 ; the replacement date is 28. 4. 2026. The interview is divided into three parts: 1) Controlled interview 2) Reading comprehension 3) Description of the picture. Recommended material for conducting an interview replacing the Czech language entrance exam according to Section 20, paragraph 4 of the Education Act www.msmt.gov.cz/file/63930.
The result of the interview is a positive or negative opinion of the committee regarding the applicant's ability to study the given field of study. In the case of a negative opinion, the applicant has not met the criteria for admission to education and will not be admitted.
The time limit for completing the exam or its part conducted by the candidate in written form is increased by 25% and the candidate has the right to use a translation dictionary .
Evaluation and ranking of candidates
The ranking of applicants will be determined according to the total number of points obtained in the unified entrance examination .
In the event that two or more candidates achieve the same number of points , the ranking will be determined according to the following additional criteria:

Better average grades on the report card for the first semester of the 9th grade of elementary school.

If there is a tie, the average grade from the report card for the 2nd semester of the 8th grade will be taken into account.

In the event of a continuing tie , the average grade from the report card for the 1st semester of the 8th grade will be taken into account.

If the result remains the same, the order will be decided by drawing lots .
Important dates for the 2026 admissions process
According to the schedule of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, the following dates apply:
Application submission: from February 1 to February 20, 2026 (The application can be submitted electronically via the DiPSy system, or in paper form on the prescribed form.) The method of submitting the application is listed at www.prihlaskynastredni.cz .
1st JPZ date: Friday, April 10, 2026
2nd JPZ date: Monday, April 13, 2026
The replacement dates for the unified entrance examination are set for April 29, 2026 (1st date) and April 30, 2026 (2nd date). The Center decides where and when the applicant will take the JPZ.

Unified Entrance Examination (JPZ)
Part of the admission procedure is a unified entrance examination (JPZ) organized centrally by CERMAT .
The exam consists of two written tests:

Czech language and literature – max. 50 points
-
Mathematics – max. 50 points
The total maximum number of points obtained is 100 points . There is no set success limit for the ČJL and MAT tests.

The school does not hold a school entrance exam (ŠPZ).
There are no health eligibility requirements for this field, we do not require a medical certificate.
